Bert and Bob are in support here as two circus performers who join Bebe Daniels on a trip to her rich fiancee (Everett Marshall)'s home in 1840 Louisiana. This is complete with the gorgeous Technicolor finale and runs 98m. Excellent quality.

One of W & W's weirdest films sees our boys down in South America's tiny country El Dorania. Bert "buys" a revolution, Bob is the king! Also starring Dorothy Lee, Edna May Oliver, and Boris Karloff. This movie has the noted "Which and What" routine. Excellent quality.

Caught Plastered (1931) DVD available
Our boys are back as struggling vaudevillians who help out an old lady (Lucy Beaumont) with her drugstore and fend off bootleggers. Charming vehicle costars Dorothy Lee and Jason Robards. The scene with W & W cheering up the old lady is great. Excellent quality.

One of W & W's best! Our boys are two smarmy divorce lawyers in Reno and end up on both sides of a divorce case. Meanwhile, Bert dresses up in drag to avoid an Arizona badman. Also starring Dorothy Lee and Zelma O'Neal. Great quality, highest recommendation.

The famed Gershwin musical is now a W & W vehicle. The boys travel to Arizona to help playboy Eddie Quillan with his dude ranch and run afoul of badman Stanley Fields. Also starring Dorothy Lee. Songs include "I Got Rhythm" and "But Not For Me." Excellent quality.

Controversial W & W vehicle (their only for Columbia) has the duo hired to take their lions to Africa to film a documentary along with alluring director Esther Muir. Also starring Raquel Torres. This is the 65m version. Lesser quality.

One of W & W's best films has the duo as barbers on an Indian reservation who are sent to the Geneva peach conference! Incredibly bizarre and funny. Also starring Marjorie White and Phyllis Barry. Very similar to the Marx Bros.'s Duck Soup. Excellent quality.

Another classic W & W film has the boys as flavored lipstick salesmen who help out Thelma Todd with her struggling beauty business. Also starring Dorothy Lee. Contains the great song "Just Keep on Doin What You're Doing." Excellent quality.

Critics usually agree that this is W & W's best film! The duo star as vagrants in 1600s England who impersonate the king's doctors while also romancing Thelma Todd and Dorothy Lee. Also starring Noah Berry. One of their best to be sure. Excellent quality.

In a wild outing, W & W are rival pill company owners who wrestle each other (!) for control of the business with the loser becoming the winner's servant. Smart satire also stars Esther Muir and Marjorie Lord. Very underrated W & W outing. Excellent quality.

W & W's last film before Woolsey's death has the boys as carnies who are hired to unknowingly smuggle jewels for crooked Jack Carson. Also starring Lupe Velez and Marjorie Lord. Bert's Chaplin imitation has no equal. Excellent quality.

Too Many Cooks (1931) DVD available
Bert and Dorothy Lee star as a couple who plan to get married and build their own home in the country, but of course everything goes wrong. An interesting comedy that predates Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House. Excellent quality. No Woolsey in this one.

In this Bert solo outing (and remake of Elmer the Great), Wheeler stars as an incredible football player who is great until he gets mixed up with gangsters. Also starring Marie Wilson and William Demarest. Decent quality.

In this solo Wheeler vehicle Bert plays a member of a struggling acting troupe who gets conned into buying a Vegas ranch. Also starring Constance Moore. Bert actually sings "Dolores" in this film with Tommy Dorsey's orchestra while vocalist Frank Sinatra sits it out! Lesser quality.
