Not so much a Scott vehicle as an ensemble piece. Scott leads a group of misfits into Death Valley to retrieve a lost gold shipment. Also starring Ella Raines, John Ireland, William Bishop, Edgar Buchanan, and Arthur Kennedy...incredible cast. Excellent quality.

Action packed WW2 drama stars Randolph Scott as a Canadian ship captain in charge of using his corvette ship to protect a convoy en route to Britain, while trying to break in a green young officer (James Brown). Also starring Ella Raines, Barry Fitzgerald, and a young Robert Mitchum in a minor role. Very good quality, just turn the sound up a bit.
