George Raft stars as an egotistical dancer who uses his various female
partners to get to the top before falling for his latest partner Carole
Lombard. Also starring Sally Rand (doing her fan dance) and Ray Milland.
Recently upgraded, now pretty solid quality.

Rumba (1935) DVD available
Followup to Bolero has George Raft as an exiled dancer in Cuba, where
he romances heiress Carole Lombard as well as dance partner Margo while
perfecting a version of the Rumba. Also starring Lynne Overman. Quality
is a bit iffy on this one, with some static in the sound.

George Raft stars in the first adaptation of Dashiel Hammett's novel.
Raft is a right hand man to a powerful politician (Edward Arnold) who is
implicated in a murder scandal and tries to uncover the facts. Also starring
Claire Dodd and Ray Milland. Quality isn't all that great, a bit dark.

Fun musical stars Alice Faye, Patsy Kelly, and Frances Langford as a
struggling singing act who team with bandleader George Raft and proceed
to make it big. Songs include "I'm in the Mood For Love," "I Feel a Song
Comin On," and the title tune. OK but not great quality.

Partial remake of The Most Dangerous Game stars George Raft as a gangster
who helps the Treasurey Dept. seek out a notorious counterfeiter (George
Macready) who specializes in hunting on his small island. Also starring
Nina Foch and Will Geer. Excellent quality.
