O & J are back but Hollywood doesn't want them! After being thrown
out of Universal studios O & J set out to make their own movie and sell
to the highest bidder. More lunacy also starring Cass Dailey, Patrick
Knowles, and MANY guest stars. Decent but not great quality.

Ghost Catchers (1944) DVD available
One of O & J's best films has the duo as nightclub entertainers who aid
a southern colonel and his daughters with the ghosts of a gay 90s playboy,
a horse, and a cow! Also starring Gloria Jean and Martha O'Driscoll.
Decent but not great quality.

O & J's last film stars the duo as a nightclub act trying to break their
contract with sleazy club owner Franklin Pangborn. They run amuck and
throw mud at customers, great stuff. Also starring Alan Curtis and Noah
Berry, Jr. Quality is not too good on this one, mainly for completists.

Gold Dust Gertie (1931) DVD available
Fun early talkie comedy stars Winnie Lightner as a gold digger who recruits
the help of her salesmen ex husbands (Olsen and Johnson) to help her land
a rich millionaire (Claude Gillingwater). Lots of risque jokes and a good
chase finale. Excellent quality.

50 Million Frenchmen (1931) DVD available
Wild comedy stars William Gaxton as a drunken American sent to Paris where
he tries to romance women and hangs around with a couple of goofball U.S.
expatriots (Olsen and Johnson). Look for Bela Lugosi in a brief bit.
Excellent quality.

Fun Olsen and Johnson vehicle has the duo as struggling vaudevillians who
promise to reveal a killer on a radio broadcast from a jinxed theater.
Also starring Mary Howard, Harry Stockwell, and Eddie Kane. Excellent
quality.

Country Gentlemen (1936) DVD available
Olsen and Johnson star as two crooked bonds salesmen who buy a seemingly
worthless piece of land in order to promote an oil business and swindle
some army vets. Also starring Joyce Compton and Lila Lee. The jailhouse
scene is priceless. Very good quality, albeit a bit bright.
