The first film version of the oft filmed story involving a count who hires
an actor to play him while he is away. Chevalier stars in a dual role
along with Ann Sothern and Merle Oberon. Great "Straw Hat" music finale.

Considered the best early talkie studio revue, the entire Paramount roster
is featured. Jack Oakie, Leon Errol, and Skeets Gallagher host and the stars
include Maurice Chevalier (3 segments), and a hilarious mystery with Dr. Fu-
Manchu (Warner Oland), Philo Vance (William Powell), and Sherlock Holmes (Clive
Brook). This is a 79m reissue, not the 102m original, and there are some blips
from time to time.
