Wild Dickens type melodrama stars Tod Slaughter as a vile squire and prison official who tries to frame and wreck men in order to pursue a young maiden (Marjorie Taylor). Some pretty intense prison scenes for the time period. Also starring Jack Livesey. Very good quality.

Wild old dark house chiller stars Bela Lugosi as a Hindu servant in a house being terrorized by a disfigured maniac. Also starring Wallace Ford as a cocky reporter, Sally Blane, and George Meeker. A truly silly and fun old horror flick with an unforgettable ending. Excellent quality.

Gregory Peck stars as a Colonel in post WW2 Berlin who has to deal with espionage when the son of a wealthy mogul (Broderick Crawford) is kidnapped. Excellent Cold War era spy thriller also stars Buddy Ebsen as Peck's right hand man. Excellent quality, letterboxed.

Night World (1932) DVD available
Fascinating Pre Code curio stars Boris Karloff as a gangster nightclub owner(!), Lew Ayres as a drunken college boy whose mother shot his father, Mae Clarke as a friendly chorus girl, and George Raft as a Broadway tinhorn. Busby Berkeley did a couple of dance numbers. Very good quality aside from a couple of blips.

Underrated film noir stars John Payne as an ex boxer who is framed for a murder and also implicated in a diamond heist. Also starring Evelyn Keyes and Brad Dexter. Great movie. Excellent quality.
